Accurist was founded in 1946 in London's Clerkenwell district by Asher and Rebecca Loftus. They established Accurist with the intention of creating a brand name of lasting value. Like much of the competition back then, Accurist watches were made entirely from Swiss components; a positive sales point that guaranteed quality, and with the addition of competitive prices it helped establish a reputation for the brand of good value for money.

 

In 2014  Accurist had a brand refresh, following the acquisition from Time Products Ltd. For 70 years Accurist have been making watches that are of British design and style not to mention the brilliant value for money. They have never changed in this approach but the concept needed refreshing.

 

In 2015 it the launch of new products for both men and women. After their successful relaunch of the brand, the coming years for Accurist will see continued product development to create a clear brand identity. The past 70 years tell a remarkable story of the development of one of the industry's most famous watch brands.
